ഒരു ഇറാനിയൻ രാഷ്ട്രീയക്കാരനും പുരോഹിതനുമാണ് മൊജ്തബ ഹൊസൈനി ഖാംനഇ (ജനനംഃ സെപ്റ്റംബർ 8,1969).[a] ഇറാന്റെ മുൻ പരമോന്നത നേതാവായിരുന്ന ആയത്തുല്ല അലി ഖാംനഇയുടെ രണ്ടാമത്തെ മൂത്ത മകനായ മൊജ്തബ ഖാംനഇ 1987 മുതൽ 1988 വരെ ഇറാൻ-ഇറാഖ് യുദ്ധത്തിൽ സേവനമനുഷ്ഠിചിരുന്നു, 2009 ലെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിനെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള പ്രതിഷേധത്തെ അടിച്ചമർത്താൻ ഉപയോഗിച്ച ബാസിജിന്റെ നിയന്ത്രണം ഇദ്ദേഹം ഏറ്റെടുത്തതായി റിപ്പോർട്ടുകളുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.[2][3][4][5]
