Autopatrolled

I have created 35+ articles and intend to continue creating more. I believe my article creation history demonstrates familiarity with Wikipedia's content and sourcing policies, and so I am requesting the autopatrolled right to help reduce workload for New Pages Patrol.LivingLife1976 (talk) 11:25, 1 August 2026 (UTC) LivingLife1976 (talk) 11:25, 1 August 2026 (UTC)reply

(Non-administrator comment) @LivingLife1976 Kismet Ke Here Phere created in mainspace on 20 July, tagged for additional citations the following day, orphan-tagged on 30 July (not a big deal), and moved by you to draftspace on 1 August "for further improvement", less than four hours before this request was filed. I believe this indicates that at least one very recent creation benefited from the scrutiny this permission would have bypassed.
But then, on 16 February Diannaa removed 1,113 bytes from Draft:Rawal Jagmal, identifying the removed material as copied from a published gazetteer. I would not treat this incident alone as decisive, especially given your subsequent works, but copyright familiarity is directly relevant as an autopatrolled user. So, I'd recommend waiting for a longer clean record of fully prepared mainspace creations, after all, that is what this bit is about; it doesn't make you capable of anything special on-wiki. Hi, I have contributed a number of articles in the past (User:MinorProphet#List of articles wot I did do) and have a backlog of drafts (User:MinorProphet/Draft subpages), some of which are closer to completion than others. It would do wonders for my self-confidence (I had a stroke around 10 years ago) if I felt that I could post relatively worthwhile articles directly into mainspace as before. Best wishes to all behind the scenes, MinorProphet (talk) 14:43, 12 August 2026 (UTC)reply

Hey MinorProphet, it doesn't look to me like you've created an article in a couple of years. Since autopatrolled is meant primarily as a way to reduce the workload of new pages patrol, it would be redundant in this case. Note that you do not need the permission to create articles directly in mainspace. And while I sympathize with wanting a bit of a confidence boost, that's not what this permission is for, so I'm going to mark this as BERJAYA not done. Might I suggest writing something for Did you know? I can tell you from experience that there is a sense of pride in seeing your work on the Main Page. :) TechnoSquirrel69 (talk) 17:56, 13 August 2026 (UTC)reply

User has created 465 articles, 0 of which have been deleted. I have often reviewed their work during NPP and have never found any problems (via TSI spot-check, Earwig, etc.) requiring patroller attention. Zzz plant (talk) 14:42, 13 August 2026 (UTC)reply
