- I'm sorry, but it does not appear to me that the citation that you added supports the statement that members of the Mumbai police were corrupt or accepted bribes from Mirchi. The citation doesn't say anything about corruption or bribery, much less anything specifically about Mirchi. It's just a general discussion about police brutality in India. At least, that is what I can tell from the abstract. The paper itself doesn't seem be available. I'm not sure it actually even exists; I can find no reference to it anywhere except on that one page, and none of the links on that page work. Where did you actually read the paper?
