Welcome to the Oxford Labour Club, the largest and oldest university Labour club in the country. Since 1919, we have been the home of the Labour movement in Oxford, hosting prominent speakers, running spirited socials, and well-organised campaign days.  

In Trinity Term 2026, we’re excited to get stuck into the local election campaign. With a strong schedule of leafletting, doorknocking, and phone-banking, OLC members are working hard to return a Labour-run Oxford City Council.  

Outside of the campaign, we’ve got a line-up of invigorating speaker events and panel discussions, including anti-racist campaigner and former NUT General-Secretary Baroness Christine Blower, the Government’s Economic Secretary to the Treasury Lucy Rigby MP, and Labour Party stalwart, John McDonnell MP, among many others.  

We’re making the most of the summer weather with our fun socials. From punting on the Cherwell, to a fundraiser sports day, and a cross-party picnic. We’ve got a great Trinity Term in store here at the Oxford Labour Club. 

And of course, we’ve got our flagship Beer and Bickering every Saturday, bringing together Oxford’s political minds for the best debate social in the city. 

So, if you’re keen to get involved, whether that be trying your hand at canvassing, or meeting like-minded people at Beer and Bickering, we’re excited to welcome you to the Oxford Labour Club this Trinity.
