Ambassador Callista L. Gingrich is the United States Ambassador to the Swiss Confederation and the Principality of Liechtenstein. Mrs. Gingrich was nominated by President Donald J. Trump on December 22, 2024 and confirmed by the United States Senate on September 18, 2025.

Deputy Chief of Mission

Brad Bell became Deputy Chief of Mission for U.S. Embassy Bern in April 2023. He is a career member of the Senior Foreign Service with the rank of Counselor. He has served at U.S. Embassy in Bern since June 2022.
