With over 135 years’ worth of articles on subjects as wide ranging as antiquities, archaeology, architecture, armorial bearings, art, Christmas carols, culture, customs, dialects, farming, folklore, genealogy, heraldry, literature, local history, monumental inscriptions, music, remedies, weatherlore, wildlife, wife selling, and witchcraft, there’s not a lot we don’t know!

‘It’s like Wikipedia before there was Wikipedia – with user-generated content from our worldwide membership. SDNQ is a place where ideas and research can be shared and discussed.’

For an annual subscription of just £8.00 you will receive two copies a year of our journal. Details of how to subscribe can be found on our Contact page.
