Weigel Broadcasting has unveiled a lineup of some of the greatest shows in television history for WWME-Channel 23, the new low-power station to be known as "Me-TV."
Starting Jan. 1, the companion to Weigel's WCIU-Channel 26 (which is known as "The U") will air a format of classic reruns around the clock, with a smattering of local sports on weekends.
Programming and marketing of the new station is the brainchild of Neal Sabin, executive vice president of Weigel Broadcasting.
During prime time Monday through Saturday, Channel 23 will recreate CBS' popular Saturday night sitcom lineup from the '70s, including "All in the Family," "Bob Newhart," "Mary Tyler Moore," "Carol Burnett" and "The Jeffersons" plus "Sanford & Son. …
