While the world of YouTube sensations continues to expand, one comedic actress from the States has not looked back in over half a decade. Comedienne Colleen Ballinger created the online act Miarnda sings in 2008 and became not only an overnight but an enduring sensation. So much so that she’s now up and taking her act on the road – that’s right, Miranda is coming Down Under!

Miranda Sings
Miranda Sings is, by design, talentless, egotistical, and full of rants about her haters. And it’s hilarious. Armed with a catalogue of Broadway hits and top 40 – delivered like the million and one other YouTube self-shot videos of wannabe viral stars you ever saw – Miranda kicks it up a notch and creates the most successful parody of the world of YouTube going. In doing so she has created an international cult following known as Mirandas, and the Australian chapter can warm up for some good old Miranda love when her audience opens at Sydney’s Seymour Centre on Tues, day November 5.
Producer George Youakim of James Anthony Productions says the following of the upcoming production:
“I am very excited to be bringing Miranda Sings’ latest show here to Australia. Australian audiences are extremely excited and there are plenty of ‘Mirfandas’ down here that cannot wait to meet her! She is a very unique talent, and her 3 million or so fans are a testament to her entertaining quality. I think Australia is in for a real treat with this show!”

Miranda Sings
With 55 million – yes MILLION! – YouTube views to her name thus far, and widely successful international tours to her name already, Miranda Sings looks set to conquer the Australian cabaret scene. Haters be damned!
Tickets for Miranda Sings shows are on sale through MirandaSings.com.
Her Australian tour kicks off in Sydney at the Seymour Centre tomorrow night November 6th. The Melbourne shows are at Chapel Off Chapel from November 14th to November 16th – and all this before she embarks on an extensive US national tour.
Sing out Miranda!
