@gpatel-fr I don't know how Ratatoskr would handle multiple files in one bluetooth sending or a file folder bluetooth sendong but yes, I haven't found how to share multiple files or a folder with bluetooth.

@gandalf No, it literally just appeared after I read the message from projectmoon. Besides switching back to the settingo app, I changed nothing.

Today I decided that YOLO is the best advice and tried out switching directly from 26.04 preview to 24.04-2 RC by using sudo system-image-cli --switch 24.04-2.x/arm64/android9plus/rc and it succeeded even if it's not the recommended way. While I'm at it, a word of caution: what should in principle never be attempted is to switch channels while not being on the last version for the channel currently enabled on your device. See for example https://gitlab.com/ubports/development/core/hybris-support/lxc-android-config/-/work_items/54 where it's clear that enabling the switch to another channel safely could rely on features that have been added to the update software in a later release. To give an example, while on 24.04-1.1 stable, trying to switch directly to 24.04-2RC could be not supported because the upgrading software in an old and unsupported version could not be capable enough to switch safely to another channel. So if for any good or bad reason, you are on an old and unsupported version, do not try to switch channel directly: upgrade first to the last version (in this case it would be update first the device to 24.04-1.4 as it's the last version currently).

@Linus67 You provided the basics , but there is more than one .conf file. UBports network manger controls the conf file in directory /etc as the default UB setting. Its not a fixed parameter. But we also have a .conf in the system D. directory Try to edit the file with sudo and mother UB says nope we are read only. I know the command to undo this , but.... Before investing time on DNS i get wireguard working on the UBports phone. A DNS conflict issue. One user here stated the upcoming -4 might solve the issue. The DNS Wifi settings on UB is not a problem. I have a home router with VPN and Quad DNS that over rides the phone DNS. Best solution all devices on my network are protected. My router also allows changing the MAC address. DNS for cell data is determined by the Ubports phone. This is where i wish to set up DNS 9.9.9.9. The network manager has two configs. One for wifi and one for cell data.

@YamiYukiSenpai yeah, I don't know about fluffychat but I'll list a few apps that I've tried: libreoffice: Works great while docked, but the windows that you open from inside the app (e.g the settings window) cant be moved or resized, having you moving the main window arround so that it fits on the screen. Aside from that, it works great and saves and opens files like you would espect. One thing I haven't figured out is document signing. localsend: Works great but you cant pick the "file" option to select a specific file in the gui as your app would breeze. Putting the file you want to send inside a folder makes it so you can send it by selecting the "folder" option. steam: won't install (had to try!). retroarch: can't navigate UI without a keyboard or a controller. formatfactory: works great and is very helpful, it lets you convert file types. Keep in mind almost every snap app will have a GUI not designed for touchscreens however, so they are most useful when docked. Running 24.04-1.3 stable on a FP5 Oh, I tried firefox again. It still displays a blank window.

@YamiYukiSenpai I'm not sure what's causing it because I know someone where the root was successfully resized on this device. I have 2 Pro1-X and my 6GB variant is the one that has this issue so far. My other one is still in 24.04-1.3 so haven't tried. All I remember is that I initially flashed this one the old manual way because it wasn't in the installer yet.

@linl OK, it seems there are problems, meaning restrictions from maybe your country (or maybe USA, or both, I don't know where the download servers are hosted), that can prevent installer to download properly. Another topic is already opened about this problem. https://forums.ubports.com/topic/12174/mirrors-for-users-in-russia/21?page=2 I'll merge yours with it. Please be patient, the issue is already known, but UBPorts team don't have much ressources (in any kind) to react like gafams can (but may not), and this may need a new version of installer, servers, mirrors, or whatever. Feel free to read thread and continue here, and maybe go to the russian telegram UBPorts help channel mentioned in previous post.

@WillemHexspoor I'm using the same provider and recently seeing connection problems in the Netherlands. But it may be my device. Not sure. I can't use 5g as I'm using a Oneplus 5t.
