Temple of the True Inner Light

[edit]

You've published false information about the Temple of the True Inner Light based on marinacci's book (who refused to even speak with the Temple, even though we were willing to...I have the email correspondence, which I can show you). We literally don't believe in the stuff on the wikipedia page. Also, hamilton morris interviewed a past member of the Temple who left the Temple in disgrace after sexually assaulting another member and stealing a large Amount of the Communion Substance when he left. None of us care (or have ever cared) about that foolish painting he did his article on. The only true source I found while skimming the sources was Alexander Shulgin. May we please work together to make a more accurate wikipedia page? The citations are pointless if they're based on false information. I can share my email address with you. ~2026-28556-07 (talk) 03:46, 18 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

If you have concerns about specific sources, or have reliable sources you'd like to see used in the article, please start a discussion on Talk:Temple of the True Inner Light. Note that as a member, you have a conflict of interest regarding the article and should abide by the guidelines in that link. Please also note that we have a policy about how we write about living persons, which applies not just to articles but to talk pages. This means: don't throw around accusations of sexual assault and theft without providing a reliable source. Jfire (talk) 03:51, 18 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
@Jfire: Please note that there is no conflict of interest here, as the user is a member of the church. Catholics are free to edit the Catholic Church article, and Lutherans are free to edit the Lutheran Church article. There are no double standards on Wikipedia. How? I hardly ever go on this website. ~2026-28556-07 (talk) 06:29, 18 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
Oh never mind, you were not talking to me. ~2026-28556-07 (talk) 06:32, 18 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

Ok will do, thank you. ~2026-28556-07 (talk) 22:17, 20 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
I did as "Jfire" suggested here and started (a while ago) a discussion on Talk:Temple of the True Inner Light, but that doesn't seem to have affected the page whatsoever. I guess I need to become well-versed in wikipedia to dispute the bizarrely ridiculous factual inaccuracies. ~2026-28556-07 (talk) 05:33, 6 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
Or rather, I should have said "try to correct" instead of "dispute." ~2026-28556-07 (talk) 05:36, 6 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

Reverted amendment of 'Friends of Israel' to a biased version

[edit]

Was the amendment inaccurate or more biased than the current one?

Links to references, mostly on Wikipedia itself, were included. No untoward or unverified assertions have been made.

I do not understand the reason for the reversion to a pro-israeli biased description. ~2026-40319-86 (talk) 23:46, 18 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

See the message on your talk page. The Arab–Israeli conflict is designated a contentious topic and subject to rules that preclude editing by unregistered users. Jfire (talk) 23:49, 18 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

Regarding the flagging of Kagghamraåns sjösystem edit by me as AI

[edit]

I admit I did use AI for translation purposes of the swedish sources as I don't know swedish, however I checked the sites I mentioned as sources for my edits, is there any way my edits can be reversed? I'll not use AI llms again and just stick to English articles. Stormisraging (talk) 16:00, 21 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hi Stormisraging. See Wikipedia:LLM-assisted translation. In short, one of the requirements is that you be skilled in both languages. Jfire (talk) 18:27, 21 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
Yeah this is great but I sometimes wonder whether letting articles be useless is better than ai translated text because removing the edit is still not helping at the end Stormisraging (talk) 18:43, 21 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

What's yours?

[edit]

Why do you keep deleting what I post? Stop being annoying. Data from that time proves it, therefore it's a fact, whether you like it or not... Agatha 345 (talk) 06:24, 22 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

Your edit was sourced to a self-published source, which doesn't satisfy Wikipedia's verifiability requirements. It also appears that you may be using AI for editing, which is prohibited. I see that you have restored the material while providing different sources, yet as far as I can see, none of the sources you provided verify the text you added (for example, none of them back up a figure of 36 million users in February 2008). And the CBS News source is a dead link. Are you using AI to generate these sources? Jfire (talk) 14:51, 22 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

:)

Remember to enforce the actual rules of the site and not only the ones you like that for some odd reason only apply to Jews :) ~2026-42035-46 (talk) 09:13, 29 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
