Removing a site
-
Dear WordPress Support,I am requesting the removal of the following WordPress.com page:https://mylittleworldbymlw.wordpress.com
This blog was created by me, but I no longer have access to the account or the associated email address. The page contains personal information about me that I do not wish to remain publicly available. The content was posted many years ago and does not reflect who I am today. I am uncomfortable with it being accessible online, especially as I cannot edit or remove it myself. Please let me know, directly and privately, what information you require from me to verify my identity so this can be removed. The email link to that site no longer exists.
The blog was a young me making an unknowingly bad future impact and reflects badly on me and is no longer a relevant picture of my personal character.
Thank you for your assistance.Kind regards

Hi! This is completely understandable and Automattic takes personal data and privacy requests seriously.
Since you can’t access the account directly here’s how to get this handled privately:
- Submit a formal privacy/content removal request directly to Automattic at automattic.com/privacy — this is the official channel for personal data removal requests and is handled privately by their team.
- You can also submit a request through wordpress.com/help/contact and specifically mention it is a privacy removal request for personal content you no longer consent to having publicly available.
- When you reach out have the following ready:
- The URL of the site: mylittleworldbymlw.wordpress.com
- Any information that proves you created the account such as approximate creation date, content details, or any old emails you may have received from WordPress.com
- A clear statement that you are requesting removal under privacy grounds
Since you’re based in a region that may have privacy protections such as GDPR if you’re in Europe or similar laws elsewhere you can mention that in your request as it gives additional legal weight to your removal request.
Automattic staff handle these requests confidentially and should be able to assist you. Good luck!
