Batman (sprva poimenovan Bat-Man) je fiktivni superheroj iz stripov DC Comics. Prvič se je pojavil v stripu Detective Comics #27, 30. marca 1939. Batmana sta ustvarila risar Bob Kane in pisatelj Bill Finger, čeprav za uradnega avtorja velja le Bob Kane. Batman je od takrat postal eden najbolj prepoznavnih superherojev.

Batman je v resnici Bruce Wayne sin Thomasa in Marthe Wayne, milijarder ki ima v lasti Wayne Enterprises in je tudi dobrodelnež. Kot otrok je bil priča umoru svojih staršev, kar ga je spodbudilo k boju proti kriminalu. Oblečen je v netopirski kostum, za razliko od drugih superherojev pa nima nobene nadnaravne moči, temveč izkorišča tehnologijo, svoje znanje, denar in izjemne detektivske sposobnosti.

Batman je nastopil v več stripovskih serijah, televizijskih serijah, animiranih in igranih, ter tudi v številnih celovečernih filmih, med katerimi so tudi animirani filmi.
