രാമതുളസി (UK: /ˈbæzəl/,[1] US: /ˈbeɪzəl/;[2] Ocimum basilicum)ഗ്രേറ്റ് ബേസിൽ അഥവാ സെന്റ് ജോസഫ്സ്-വോർട്ട് എന്നും അറിയപ്പെടുന്നു. മിൻറ് കുടുംബമായ ലാമിയേസിയിലെ പാചകത്തിനുപയോഗിക്കുന്ന ഒരു സസ്യം ആണിത്. മധ്യ ആഫ്രിക്ക മുതൽ തെക്ക് കിഴക്ക് ഏഷ്യ വരെയുള്ള ഉഷ്ണമേഖലാ പ്രദേശങ്ങളിലാണ് രാമതുളസി കാണപ്പെടുന്നത്.[3]
