The Town of East Haddam requests that sealed bids be submitted for the following: Emergency Vehicle Apparatus – SQUAD
Said bids must be in a sealed envelope clearly marked: EHFD SQUADS. An original and two (2) additional hard copies, as well as an electronic copy on a flash drive of said bids are to be provided. Sealed bids for the Emergency Vehicle Apparatus – SQUAD will be received at the Office of the First Selectman at the Municipal Office Complex, 1 Plains Road, P.O. Box 385, Moodus, CT 06469, until 11:00 A.M. local time, on Tuesday, June 16, 2026. Bids will be opened at that time and date.
All inquiries should be directed to the Office of the First Selectman at admin@easthaddam.org. No telephone calls will be accepted. Responses to questions submitted shall be provided to all known respondents to this bid. No questions will be accepted or answered after Thursday, June 4, 2026. Addendums will be prepared as necessary and distributed to all interested requestors.
Specifications and bid documents may be obtained from the office of the First Selectman, Town of East Haddam, Municipal Office Complex, 1 Plains Road, P.O. Box 385, Moodus, CT 06469 or by calling (860) 873-5021.
The Town of East Haddam reserves the right to waive any informalities or defects in any bid. The Town reserves the right to accept other than the lowest bid if the Board of Selectmen, in its sole discretion, deems it to be in the best interest of the Town to do so. Bids, amendments to bids or withdrawal of bids after the time set for bid acceptance will not be considered.
