[6.0] "Uemura is such a smart wrestler. The story of this is⁠ that Uemura isnt going to get baited into strike exchanges and Henare is going to gain advantages with stiff strikes. Uemura is going to use catch wrestling skills and quickness. At one point I thought they had abandoned it when Uemura hit a few strikes but A) he didn't do the dumb thing where he stands there and dares Uemura to hit him and B) it was a setup to get Henare to run so Uemura could hit a dropkick. Dead crowd hurts this. Really with Uemura wouldn't use high fly flow or Aces high. He's so unique up until that point. Overall really enjoyed this. Love Oiwa and Uemura pushing this idea that wreslters should have actual coherent strategies vs just doing all their shit and the opponent doing all their shit and everyone does their shit until they're out of shit to do. Hope it catches on in North America. 3 stars."

[9.0] "A match you will hear about how insane it is, how great it is. But you truly need to see it for yourself to understand. It's not just violence for the sake of it, the desperation and the struggle to avoid the barbed⁠ wire at all costs is absolutely tremendous. The explosions aren't the match, they're a tool for the story that the match is telling. The way Terry baits the crowd to come up every time he's near the ropes is incredible."

[6.0] "You can kinda tell looking at the undercard that it's gonna be rough going until/potentially through to the Triangle Ribbon title match and it is but if you're amenable to some adorable comedy with Mase and Kaori cooperating to beat Hikari then it starts to turn from there. The tag match starts good but peters out with the closing Satsuki/Yappy minutes. The main event's very good and clearly the best match but the show as a whole is still whatever."
