- John Gilmore (representative) → John Gilmore (politician)
- John Ross (representative) → John Ross (Pennsylvania politician)
- Nathaniel Jones (representative) → Nathaniel Jones (politician)
- John Whitehill (representative) → John Whitehill (politician)
- William Howard (congressman) → William Howard (Ohio politician)
- Henry St. John (congressman) → Henry St. John (Ohio politician)
- Joseph Whitehead (congressman) → Joseph Whitehead (Virginia politician)
– each of these articles uses a non-standard disambiguator. I've proposed more general disambiguators consistent with our common practice. for most of these pages, the subjects held state-level offices other than serving in Congress, so (congressman) or (representative) is not as appropriate as (politician).
