What happens to 15 years’ worth of TV props? Following the final series of A League of Their Own, more than 5,600 production items have been given a second life in communities across the UK, with an estimated value of over £50,000. Working with PropUp Project and CPL Productions Ltd, these items were redistributed to 38 organisations, including youth services, local charities, animal rescue centres and homelessness support groups. Reducing waste while getting valuable resources into the hands of the people who can use them most is part of our wider ambition to build a more sustainable television industry, and a reminder that the impact of a production doesn't have to end when the cameras stop rolling. Hear directly from the organisations who benefitted.

Our gripping new Sky Original action thriller Prisoner has landed, following a prison transport officer and a high-value inmate forced into an uneasy alliance after a brutal ambush leaves them on the run. We believe great storytelling should have a positive impact too. On the set of Prisoner, that came to life through practical, everyday decisions from the crew. From sourcing local ingredients and ensuring vegan and vegetarian options were always available, to dishing up in reusable containers and donating surplus meals, the catering team helped reduce the production’s impact one lunch at a time. It’s a simple but meaningful example of how productions like Prisoner can support local communities and reduce waste, while bringing powerful stories to audiences.

Get ready for every Formula 1 race, practice, qualifying, sprint and Grand Prix through to the next decade. We’ve agreed a new long-term partnership with F1, securing Sky as the home of the sport in the UK and Ireland until the end of the 2034 season, and in Italy through 2032. For fans and customers, it means every moment of the race weekend will be in one place, with exclusive live coverage across Sky Sports and NOW. That includes full coverage of Formula 2, Formula 3, F1 ACADEMY and Porsche Supercup. Since becoming the home of F1 in 2012, audiences have grown at pace, with record viewing, more under 35s tuning in and female audiences more than doubling. As the sport enters an exciting new era, we’re proud to keep bringing fans closer to the action through the storytelling, innovation and access that defines our coverage. More on the agreement in the comments.

These kids thought they were making a news report… then Nathan Collins walked in the room. Students from Scoil Bhríde National School in Leixlip recently visited the Sky Up Academy in Ireland, where they learned how to create their own news report and share messages of support for the Republic of Ireland Men’s National Team ahead of their upcoming fixtures. As part of the experience, they were surprised by a special visit from the Irish captain, and former Scoil Bhríde student — Nathan Collins, who dropped in to see them in action and meet the next generation of storytellers. Moments like this are what Sky Up Academy is all about — giving young people the opportunity to build skills, grow in confidence and explore careers in media, while connecting them with real role models from the worlds of sport and entertainment, alongside the Football Association of Ireland.

We recently welcomed more than 200 young people to our Osterley, Livingston and Elstree campuses for a hands-on experience focused on sustainability.   From conversations with our Sustainability team to creating their own content in our studios, students explored the role they can play in shaping a more sustainable future.   Programmes like Sky Up Academy Studios are about giving young people the skills, confidence and perspective to tell the stories that matter.

What if the things we throw away had something to say?   That’s the idea behind ‘Rescue Me, Recycle’ - a brilliant new campaign from Sky Zero Footprint Fund winner WRAP, launching today.   By giving everyday items a voice and personality, the campaign taps into helping people feel more confident about what can be recycled, and inspiring small actions that create real impact.   Backed by £200,000 in media support through our Sky Zero Footprint Fund, this is exactly the kind of bold, creative thinking we’re proud to champion.   Watch the campaign below to see ‘Rescue Me, Recycle’ brought to life.
