We recently welcomed more than 200 young people to our Osterley, Livingston and Elstree campuses for a hands-on experience focused on sustainability.   From conversations with our Sustainability team to creating their own content in our studios, students explored the role they can play in shaping a more sustainable future.   Programmes like Sky Up Academy Studios are about giving young people the skills, confidence and perspective to tell the stories that matter.

  • Two students sit at a desk holding Sky Up role badges in the Sky Up Academy Studios, with a screen behind them displaying the Sky Up logo.
  • A student stands in front of a pink “Sky Up Academy” backdrop beside a rail of colourful costumes and clothing.
  • Two students using a large touchscreen editing console in a dark studio space, with monitors showing film scenes and “Sky Up Academy Studios” branding.
  • A group stands outside of Sky Studios Elstree, while a guide gestures and speaks, with office buildings, greenery and seating areas in the background.
  • A presenter stands in front of a large screen reading “Sky Up Earth Day 2026,” speaking to a seated group of young people in a modern presentation space.

Hi there, is there any reason for why you rejected my application? Everything seemed mostly positive. Who do I contact regarding my application?

What’s strong here is the combination of skills and mission. A lot of youth programmes teach tools. The more valuable ones also help shape perspective, especially when sustainability is treated not as a side topic, but as something young storytellers can translate into culture, media and everyday behaviour.
