Record investment, equity funding secured! Our first successful year as an independent company is in the books. In fiscal 2025, TenneT Germany invested more than €10 billion into the expansion and modernisation of our grid. At the same time, our Regulatory Asset Base grew by almost a third to €36.79 billion. Underlying EBIT increased by more than 40% to €1.57 billion, reflecting both the growth of our asset base and the strong performance of our organisation. A key priority for us last year was to establish a robust and independent financing structure for TenneT Germany. With APG, GIC, Norges Bank Investment Management and KfW joining as equity investors, we have successfully secured our long-term equity funding. At the same time, we made important progress towards accessing the debt capital markets. Milestones such as our €12 billion revolving credit facility, a strong ESG rating from ISS ESG, our Green Financing Framework and the establishment of our €35 billion Debt Issuance Programme have laid the groundwork for the next phase of our financing strategy. In the current year, our focus will be on continuing this success story. Securing a robust investment grade rating and preparing our inaugural bond issuance will be two important next steps. Thanks to our strong performance in 2025, we are well positioned to deliver our investment programme of €65 billion through 2029 and drive the transformation of the energy system. German offshore wind auction results are out - congrats to winners TotalEnergies who have added another 1GW to their pipeline of 7.5GW - consolidating their position as the largest offshore wind developer in Germany. The price was EUR 180m for 146km2 of non-pre examined seabed. The price is also paid over 20 years, and grid connection is provided to the developer at no cost - so comparison with other seabed lease auctions is complex. Stefan Thimm the Managing Director for BWO the German Wind Association called attention to the falling and variable price of seabed, the low levels of demand and called for a CfD to be reintroduced in Germany (as has recently been agreed for Denmark, and investigated by the Government in the Netherlands).

Factor2 Energy has raised $9.1M in seed funding led by At One Ventures, with HTGF | High-Tech Gründerfonds, Gründerfonds Ruhr, Verve Ventures, and Siemens Energy Ventures joining. Founded by former Siemens Energy engineers Michael Wechsung, Jörg Strohschein, and Felix Böhmer, the German startup is pioneering CO₂-based geothermal systems that can deliver up to 2x the power of conventional methods at lower cost. “With this raise, we’ll advance development and build a pilot plant to show scalability” said CEO Felix Böhmer. My key takeaway from this week’s Solarplaza Energy Storage Summit #ESDE25 in Cologne: The discussions made one thing very clear: Optimising how and where we deploy storage will define the next phase of Germany’s energy transition. A few themes that resonated with me: • Co-location is becoming a strategic choice to unlock value and reduce system costs. • Grid constraints are one major bottleneck. But the good thing: It is on the agenda! • Storage is evolving from a flexibility add-on to a core system asset. What I found most encouraging: The industry is willing to adopt. We will find good solutions. And lot of them are already entering the market! Green light for our new partnership with Apollo Global Management, Inc.: In less than three months, we successfully completed the transaction to establish a joint venture over RWE’s stake in Amprion GmbH, securing future funding for investments in the German transmission grid. All necessary regulatory approvals have already been granted. Apollo provided €3.2 billion in equity, which RWE and Apollo will jointly invest in Amprion. RWE retains operational control and management over the joint venture. Amprion plays a key role supplying electricity to the country’s economic heartland, serving approximately 29 million people. The new investments in grid expansion will enhance critical infrastructure and support Germany’s energy transition. Huge congratulations to the project teams for establishing this partnership at such a remarkable pace! It’s a win on all fronts: for RWE, Apollo, and Amprion, and above all for the essential energy infrastructure.

Milestone in Offshore Wind Energy. Yesterday evening, the first turbine at EnBW’s 960MW He Dreiht offshore wind farm in the German North Sea delivered its initial kilowatt-hour to the grid. - 27 of the site’s 64 Vestas 15MW turbines are already installed - Full commissioning is scheduled for summer 2026  - Once complete, He Dreiht will power 1.1 million households, without state funding - A single rotation of the 15MW rotor can supply four households for a day Peter Heydecker, EnBW board member, called this “a significant milestone,” while Nils de Baar of Vestas highlighted the world first 15MW turbine technology that sets new standards in offshore wind. With €2.4bn invested by partners including Allianz Capital Partners, AIP, and Norges Bank Investment Management, He Dreiht is currently Germany’s largest offshore wind farm. 06.03.2026 7C Solarparken AG secures the electricity price for 100 MWp for Q2’26 and Q3’26 Bayreuth (pta013/06.03.2026/10:59 UTC+1) 7C Solarparken announces that the Group has concluded a contract for the second and third quarters of 2026 (Q2/26 and Q3/26) that fixes the electricity price of the German “Direktvermarktung” (direct marketing) contract for a portfolio totaling 100 MWp. The transaction serves to hedge the market prices for 15 existing photovoltaic plants operated under the direct marketing scheme. By concluding this agreement, 7C Solarparken will receive a fixed price of EUR 40/MWh on average for Q2 and Q3 2026 instead of the pv market price (“Marktwert Solar”) for the plants concerned. Overall, the realized electricity price for these plants could once again exceed the EUR 50/MWh mark on an annual basis, subject to normal market value solar price developments in the remaining quarters. In addition, the contract determines the amount of electricity remunerated based on an index, so that not only actual production but also curtailment volumes that may arise as a result of negative electricity prices and Re-dispatch measures by the grid operator are remunerated under the contract. This enables 7C Solarparken to reduce the volatility of the portfolio's earnings and improve the predictability of sales in a market environment that continues to be characterized by high price volatility and increasing intervention in the production of solar plants. As this is a hedge for market value solar, the contract does not change the entitlement to receive the market premium paid by the grid operator under the respective remuneration mechanism. Steven De Proost, CEO of 7C Solarparken: ‘With this agreement, we are securing a meaningful portion of our revenues for Q2 and Q3 2026 while simultaneously reducing risks from curtailment and re-dispatch. We have benefited from the current elevated energy price levels, which have been influenced by geopolitical tensions in the Middle East and short-term movements in the base load futures market, among other factors. We continue to monitor the situation very closely.’
