Marcin Cichon hat dies geteiltAfter amazing 12 years in the driving seat, I'm very excited about this change! Working with Ronak over the past 18 months was not only a pure pleasure but also a great learning experience, especially in quality of management, discipline, and humanity. We managed to develop a deeply personal and harmonious professional relationship which will be a crucial foundation for our next phase of growth and prosperity. Since joining us in May of last year Ronak has demonstrated a track record of significant results in re-organizing our commercial team and driving collaboration and efficiency that has delivered a string of four consecutive best quarters in company’s history. Ronak is an excellent operator and manager and has the essential qualities that Pricefx needs in order to continue on our “industry leadership” journey. Handing over to him the CEO role feels to be a natural next step. Under Ronak's leadership moving forward Pricefx will continue innovating and advancing the Pricing Software industry and will remain a true partner to our awesome customers. #pricing #pricefx #NoStoppingUsMarcin Cichon hat dies geteilt🎉 We're excited to announce that Ronak Sheth has been appointed CEO. Ronak, who has previous CEO experience and served on the board of technology companies, will usher Pricefx into the next chapter in our story. Good luck, Ronak but, we know you won't need it! Marcin Cichon hat darauf reagiertMarcin Cichon hat darauf reagiertJust wrapped 3 weeks on the road with customers. Clear takeaway: pricing is a CEO and board-level mandate for margin and growth. That’s driving our momentum. We’ve built Pricefx differently: The only cloud-native, AI-driven pricing platform Deeply embedded in SAP (the only endorsed pricing partner) and Salesforce Agents in the flow of enterprise execution, not sitting on the side. That’s why we’re the fastest-growing pricing company with the highest customer retention in the space. Gartner recognition as a Leader matters. It validates what customers are already telling us. Pricing is mission-critical. And the winners are embedding Pricefx where decisions get made. Let’s go! https://hubs.la/Q04cpJMc0

Marcin Cichon gefällt dasMarcin Cichon gefällt dasContent and the game around it are about to change. A lot. I've been saying this for a while now, and I'll keep saying it. In 5 to 10 years, I believe 99% of the content out there will be AI-generated. Either AI-generated videos, AI-written posts or just plain AI slop. You can already see it happening. Scroll through LinkedIn for five minutes and you'll find posts that are technically correct, well structured and completely soulless. No human fingerprint. No real point of view. Just volume. To me, the main reason why you create content gets missed entirely. The main reason is to build trust and an audience that is willing to follow your journey and hear your story. I think in the coming years, this won’t be optional anymore. It will be essential. Because more and more people will start asking themselves who’s behind it. That's why if you're an entrepreneur or a leader, you need to start building your personal brand now. Because if you're not positioning yourself and your content strategically, you will fall behind. Building an audience and building trust online are going to get incredibly hard in a world of infinite AI-generated content. You can already see it. Rather than waiting and seeing how it plays out, I'm building now. Across multiple platforms. With intention and a clear reason for each one. Over the next few days I'll walk you through exactly which 3 platforms I use, why I chose them, how I use them and what I'm hoping to build through each one. If you're interested, follow along. (One thing that AI will never replicate for sure is the feeling of inner peace you get when you have an infinite purring machine on your lap whilst pulling all-nighters)

Marcin Cichon hat darauf reagiertMarcin Cichon hat darauf reagiertAfter over 40 years in high-tech sales, it’s time for me to log off and embrace my next role as “Gigi,” while pursuing my passion for travel. What a journey it has been. From being one of the early women in enterprise software—where “trailblazer” often meant “the only woman in the room”—to building teams, growing businesses, and navigating more highs and lows than any pipeline forecast could predict. The highlight has undoubtedly been the people. Teammates who became family, customers who became lifelong friends, and countless laughs, lessons, and stories I will always cherish. To my team mates, thank you for your support, partnership, and for truly making the ride worth the journey. To the leaders who mentored me—thank you for your guidance, patience, and belief in me. To the customers who trusted me, thank you for allowing me to be part of your journey and success. And thank you to my family, who kept the home fires burning while I was on the road, cheering me on every step of the way. As I pass the torch to the next generation of trailblazers, I leave you with a few thoughts: - Keep your customer at the center—trust is everything. - Remember, software sales is the ultimate team sport—take care of each other. - Don’t forget to enjoy the journey—it goes faster than you think. I’m excited for what’s ahead—more travel, more family time, and a lot more “Gigi duty.” ✈️👶 Please stay in touch—I’d love to hear how you continue to change the world..

Marcin Cichon hat darauf reagiertMarcin Cichon hat darauf reagiertYou don't pick a co-founder based on logic. You pick someone you're willing to suffer with. You need to ask yourself: are you willing to starve with this person? And do you trust this person to freeze beside you when it gets cold? (Luckily I know Stefan is a cold shower enjoyer like me) Going into entrepreneurship sounds exciting from the outside. From the inside, it's very different. You give up a lot of the lifestyle you could have had. Things don't work. Money is uncertain. You question yourself more often than you'd like. So at some point, the question becomes very simple: are you willing to go through that with this person? Stefan Vukovic and I have known each other for less than a year. And in the past few months, I've probably spent more time with him than with my girlfriend and family combined. That's the reality of building. And I'll be honest with you. There have been times where I doubted my decision and where I doubted Stefan and whether he was the right partner for me. So how do you pick the right person? Here's how I did it. I trust my gut. It's usually right. I watch how someone handles their ego. Not whether they have one (everyone does) but what kind. Some people are driven by insecurity and need to prove something to others. Others are driven by growth and want to prove something to themselves. That difference shows over time. And in the long run, it matters more than skill. Because skill can be developed. Character is harder to change. Here's the thing. You will not find the perfect co-founder. Dave Chappelle once said "you'll have a lot of imperfect allies" and I've only recently started to truly understand what that means. It means the goal isn't perfection. It's mutual growth. It's finding someone whose ego pushes them to grow rather than someone whose ego needs validation and recognition. Growing together is uncomfortable. But it's the only kind of partnership worth building. I wish for you all to find the right business partner and conquer yourselves and everything you put yourselves to. (In my next post I should probably start talking about how much I love my girlfriend because otherwise she'll get jealous of the bromance Stefan and I are developing while suffering together through the journey of entrepreneurship)

Marcin Cichon hat darauf reagiertMarcin Cichon hat darauf reagiertSometimes I ask myself why am I doing all this. Event photography. Content creation. Storytelling. Editing. Filming. (Writing long LinkedIn posts most of you don’t really care about) I'm about to graduate from a top business university, and here I am doing things that have nothing to do with my degree. And I gotta say, the self-doubt in my life choices hits me really hard at times. On our final day in Warsaw we met up with Michal Podemski and Tomasz Pisinski. And together we shared: Good food, good conversation, and brutal honesty the Polish way. (Harsh but coming from a place of respect and good intentions) Both of them are ambitious builders who’ve been building ever since I saw the light. And at some point, we started talking about building a team, hiring, scaling… And the advice we received was very clear. Before you try to be the boss, you need to understand the work. Meaning you have to do the dirty work yourself first. Not forever. But long enough to understand it deeply. Because that’s the only way you can later hire the right people. The only way you can give direction that makes sense. The only way you earn real respect. And there are no shortcuts around it! (Unfortunately) And you definitely can’t build something meaningful by being the cheapest option. There will always be someone cheaper. You build it on values. On quality. On knowing what you’re doing and why you’re doing it. In my world right now that means getting genuinely good at videography, editing, photography and production. Not because I'll always be the one behind the camera. But because if I don't understand the craft, I can't lead it. Michał and Tomek, thank you for the lunch, the honesty and the game! (And for helping me feel better about my questionable life choices) (Here you can see me being welcomed back to Warsaw with a glass of Zdrowe Kiszonki, fermented cabbage juice. And yes, it’s horrible in every way, but I knew my Polish grandpa would be rolling in his grave if he saw me not finishing this glass, which I did. Can’t say the same for Stefan Vukovic though haha)

Marcin Cichon hat darauf reagiertMarcin Cichon hat darauf reagiertA lot happened in the past few months. More than I've shared publicly. And I think it's time to show what I've actually been building. At times, I wasn't even sure if we were doing the right thing. We lost a very promising client prospect, and I remember seriously questioning whether this path makes sense at all. But we didn't lose belief in what we were building or why. We reorganized, adjusted our positioning and offering, and reinvented ourselves more than once. Now I feel like this is something we can show and share. Stefan Vukovic and I have been building Growis — a creative growth agency that uses founder-led personal branding as a core business asset. The idea has always been simple: the most defensible thing a founder can build is trust. We help them do that with intention and structure. And now we're putting it to work. We've partnered with five degrees — a young and dynamic team composed of Olivia Hupfeld and zoran kokolanski. They're on a mission to match Europe's best talent with Europe's most exciting startups. They are kind of people who are clearly building for the future and I'm proud to be able to contribute to their journey and success. In the coming weeks we'll be heading to Warsaw with them to help realize their Europe Tour. (And Warsaw is just the first stop!) I'm growing more confident that I'm in the right place, at the right time, doing the right things with the right people. Six months ago this was just an idea. Now it's a team, a client, and a trip to Warsaw. More to come. (Here you can see Stefan and me after a long day and an even longer night. That's us after finishing setting up our first contract and sending it to a prospecting client to get it signed. You can see, there is no light in our eyes but the faint smile came from the heart.)

Marcin Cichon hat darauf reagiertStefan said it. And I'll just add this: we've been working on this for a while and we're building it the right way. Slow, intentional, and with conviction. More from my end to follow soon.Marcin Cichon hat darauf reagiertMost founders don't struggle with a lack of ideas. They struggle with being heard. My business partner Bada Cichon and I have built the solution. Over the past few months we have been working on our business model, setting up our internal structure and defining our values. We identified ourselves as an ambitious team with a genuine interest in long-term projects. In a world full of noise, fast-moving content, hype, we’ve decided to build something that compounds. Something that people can trust, not because it’s flashy and loud, but because it’s built on a foundation of consistency and strategy. As a result, we created Growis. A creative growth agency that treats Personal Branding as a strategic asset. We help founders position themselves for their goals: • Fundraising • Clients • Talent • Inbound demand. It’s never been easier to be visible and at the same time it’s never been harder to truly stand out. We help founders show their authenticity and build a narrative that converts into trust. We are not an outsourced content factory. We are your strategic partner who walks the path with you. As our goal is to grow and keep learning while building up Growis, I’m excited to take you along on this journey. More posts in the coming weeks.

Marcin Cichon gefällt dasMarcin Cichon gefällt dasAfter a short break, I’m officially back in the SaaS game! I’m happy to share that I’ve started as a Senior Recruiter at Yieldigo. After over 15 years in recruitment, I’ve realized that the "scale-up bug" is real- and I’ve decided to stop fighting it. I’m incredibly excited to be part of the Yieldigo mission and to be back in the heart of the Karlín innovation district. I’m ready to hit the ground running, reconnect with my favorite neighborhood friends, and help some amazing people find their next career home. Let’s build something great!

Marcin Cichon gefällt dasMarcin Cichon gefällt dasWe're automating humanity and humanizing automation. Lately when I've been scrolling through social media, more and more something feels… off. A lot of what I'm reading is just too structured. Too polished. Just too… artificial. Out of curiosity, I started running a few captions through AI detectors. Many came back as fully AI-generated. And I start wondering. What does the future of social media look like when the feed is mostly machines talking to machines? AI-generated comments under AI-generated posts. What does it mean to voice your unrefined self in the middle of all that noise? I can feel an urgency. Everyone wants to be seen and heard. And AI makes it easy to produce at scale and put yourself out there in large volume. But there's a difference between being seen and being trusted. And I want to be trusted. Your voice is your strongest asset. Not a 15-minute daily to-do list task. Not something to be outsourced to an LLM that has never lived your life, made your mistakes, or earned your perspective. Will authentic voices still cut through? Or is this like trying to make a horse compete with a Formula 1 car? I choose the horse. And am I right to take a stand against it, or am I showing up to a gunfight with a bow and arrow? I know where I stand. Where do you? (Here you can see my very professional setup where I've been working for the past weeks building something that, let's just say, is very much related to what I just wrote about.)
