- Like I told PBS, the current stimulus was a downpayment, but our communities – especially women and teachers – need additional support. The Biden-Harris administration will put together a package to provide relief.
- This year has been too hard for too many. But in the year to come, we have a chance to build a brighter future. And that’s exactly the challenge our economic team is preparing to take on.
- A central focus of the Council of Economic Advisers is to identify the very best programs and policies to put in place to ensure our economy works for all Americans.
- Small businesses are shutting down, one in six renters are behind on rent, and in the past three months, 2.3 million more people are in long-term unemployment. Today’s jobs report shows our current situation isn’t sustainable.
