- I was so impressed by our talented student researchers at the Summer Research Institute’s Lida Orzeck ’68 Poster Session. The SRI program connects @BarnardCollege students with faculty-mentors to conduct funded research at labs across Barnard, Columbia, and around New York City.
- Yesterday, President Minouche Shafik made history by becoming the first woman to serve as president in Columbia's nearly 270-year history. I had a wonderful time celebrating this barrier-breaking moment with our @BarnardCollege and @Columbia family.
- Reflecting on the wonderful @barnardalumnae Reunion last month 💙 This was such a wonderful and warm introduction to the College and its community. What an inspiring group of alums across generations! I look forward to listening and learning from you and your Barnard experience.
- I had a great time meeting with this year's cohort of Laidlaw Scholars. This collaborative program supported by Beyond Barnard and the Athena Center provides @BarnardCollege students with the opportunity to develop leadership skills through faculty-mentored research projects.
