Shocking CCTV footage shows the dangers that our roadworkers face daily. There are nearly 300 incidents a month. On average, motorists driving into roadworks or abuse of roadworkers happen 10 times a day. #RoadSafetyWeek2020

We've installed defibrillators in 234 traffic officer vehicles across England. Traffic officers patrol the roads 24/7 and they’re often the first to the scene of incidents. The defibrillators will help them perform life-saving first aid until emergency services arrive.

Put your phone away whilst driving! This driver, seen using his mobile phone while travelling along the #M60, #GreaterManchester, was one of 3,000 dangerous drivers filmed by police officers in our three unmarked HGV 'supercabs' aiming to improve safety on our roads.
