How to connect FireBox with GetResponse

GetResponse
Would you like to grow your email marketing list with popups
that will level up your GetResponse marketing campaigns?
FireBox provides seamless integration with the GetResponse email marketing service. You can connect your GetResponse account with FireBox by following the steps below.
The GetResponse integration is available in the Pro plan.
Connection
The very first thing you must set up is the connection between FireBox and GetResponse. To do this, go into FireBox > Settings > Integrations tab, enter your GetResponse API Key, and click on the "Connect" button.

After clicking connect, you should see a green "Connected" badge and a green message letting you know that you've successfully connected to GetResponse.

Where can I find my GetResponse API URL and API Key?
To find your GetResponse API Key, follow the steps listed below:
Step 1: Log in to your GetResponse account.
Step 2: Click Tools and select Integrations and API.
Step 3: Open the API tab and click the "Generate API key" button.
Step 4: Give your API key a name so you can recognize it later.
Step 5: Copy the API key and paste it into FireBox.
Note: For security reasons, GetResponse only shows the API key once. If you close the window without saving it, or if the key expires or is revoked, you must generate a new one and reconnect FireBox.
Integration Setup
To set up the integration and sync your submissions with GetResponse, click into your Form block, head over to Actions, and check "GetResponse".

Once you have checked "GetResponse", a new panel should appear below "Actions", named "GetResponse Integration". This is where you set up your integration to allow your form to sync your submissions with GetResponse.

List
Select the list to which all contacts will be subscribed in your GetResponse account. A complete list of all your GetResponse lists will be available.
Update Existing User
Enable Update existing user to update an existing GetResponse contact when the same email address is submitted again.
If you disable this option and an existing contact submits the form again, GetResponse will reject the subscription and the form will display an error message.
Double Optin
Enable Double Optin if your GetResponse subscription flow requires subscribers to confirm their email address before being fully added to your list.
Email and Name Fields
Email Field
For FireBox to function properly and subscribe the user to GetResponse, the form requires an Email field. This email field must have the Field Name set to "email".
Furthermore, this email field must always exist in your form so your users can enter their email address, subscribe to your mailing list, and ensure the form functions properly.
Name Field
To sync the contact's name with GetResponse, add a text field and set Field Name to "name".
Alternatively, you can use separate fields with Field Name set to "first_name" and "last_name". FireBox will combine them and send the full name to GetResponse.
Note: Field Name values in FireBox should contain only letters, numbers, and underscores.
GetResponse Custom Fields
GetResponse provides custom fields, which allow you to store additional information when a contact is saved in your GetResponse account, such as company info, preferences, phone number, age, and more.
Once you have created your custom fields in GetResponse, you can set up your FireBox Form block fields to capture the contact's data and pass it to GetResponse.
FireBox syncs custom fields when the FireBox field's Field Name matches the GetResponse custom field name.
Let's take a look at two examples below.
Phone Field
Assuming you have created a Phone custom field in GetResponse, you can create a phone or text field in your FireBox form, set Field Name to "phone", and it will automatically sync with your GetResponse contact.
Company Field
Assuming you have created a Company custom field in GetResponse, you can create a text field in your FireBox form, set Field Name to "company", and it will automatically sync with your GetResponse contact.
