Deviants eligible to participate in the Ambassador program are those who are co-founders or top contributors of official DeviantArt groups or affiliated groups. There are many factors that determine whether or not deviants might be a good fit for the Ambassador program, but all potential ambassadors should:
Frequently run or organize community events
Routinely be active participants in their community
Consistently encourage and cheer on other artists
Deviants who are part of the Ambassador program help plan and run community and creative events, giving artists an opportunity to better delve into the world of DeviantArt with the support of someone trusted in their community. As part of these events, ambassadors are expected to interact with other deviants and be a positive force, encouraging artists to participate, improve at their craft, and connect with one another. In addition, ambassadors have access to direct contact with DeviantArt team members and can provide feedback and suggestions for current and upcoming features, helping to improve the overall site experience for everyone, including members of their particular communities. The DeviantArt team will also provide resources for events ambassadors run, to help their projects thrive.
No special training needed! All ambassadors are led through an easy onboarding process when they join the program, and if an ambassador ever has questions or concerns, DeviantArt team members can be contacted for assistance.
