Hello! I’m wondering why there isn’t an option to select folders to search through existing photos when you are setting a featured image in a post? Or am I missing it?

If I go to upload a new file, I can select the folder to upload to – awesome. But if I’m searching for an existing image, I cannot access the folders.

How can I fix this? Thanks so much!

    Hi @lrkosko ,

    Thanks for coming.

In other picture exactly what you are talking about. can you record a short screencast to show exactly what you are doing exactly?

    You can use; loom.com

Sure thing, here is just a screenshot though. Its when you are making a post, and you go and set a Featured Image. There are just no options to select a folder to find an existing image.

    Hi @lrkosko ,

    Thanks for the reference.

Please note that the Lite version of FileBird works only with the default WordPress editor (Gutenberg).

So, could you confirm that you are using that editor?

    Regards.

I am using the classic editor. Many of my bloggers using this are ‘old school’ and this is much easier for them. Is there any way to get it added to the classic editor since its on the block editor too? Seems like that should be free also since it is for the block editor. I would be very appreciative!

    Hi @lrkosko,

    Thanks for your response.

The feature you are looking for is in the Pro version. FileBird Pro version does support displaying the folder tree in post/ page/ custom post types. You can see more details here https://ninjateam.gitbook.io/filebird/compare-filebird-free-and-pro

Hope that clears your concern. If you have any further questions, please let us know.

    Happy New Year!

    MIa
