I’m trying to export a modest number of blog posts (24) into a CSV using the latest version of your plugin (just installed). When I click the “continue” button after specifying fields in the “customize export” section, I keep getting a message that just says “an unknown error occurred.” Doesn’t matter how many or which fields I try to export.

If I skip the “customize export” it works. But I need a customized export (am trying to migrate blog posts into Shopify).

Any idea what might be failing here? I’ve disabled all plugins except yours.

    Hey @megunticook,

We’re going to have to log the error to understand what’s happening here. To do that, you can contact your host and send them:

    • The approximate time of the error (including time zone). If you’re not sure when it occurred, please take the steps necessary to reproduce the error.
    • A screenshot of the error, including the URL in your browser.

Ask them to send you any relevant entries around the time of the error. It should have one of these words in the entry: “Fatal”, “Exception” or “Syntax”.

You can then share only the relevant, sanitized log excerpt here. Please remove any sensitive information before posting, such as: IP addresses, email addresses, usernames, file paths that reveal private details, tokens, keys, or other private data.

Nothing being logged in the WordPress debug log. Any other ideas?

Update–I was able to get this to work by switching from my dev server to my production server. Not ideal, but resolved the issue. Still not clear what was going on. Thanks.
