Demi's reps tell us ... they just got word she will no longer do a cameo for the flick.
TMZ broke the story... Demi was rushed to the hospital Monday night for a substance abuse problem. She is currently receiving professional help at a treatment facility.
Demi Moore was rushed to the hospital last night ... and we're told the issue is substance abuse.
Law enforcement tells us a 911 call was placed at 10:45 PM Monday night. Paramedics responded to Demi's L.A. home and after assessing her for a half hour, she was transported to a local hospital.
Sources tell us she is being placed in a facility to "seek further professional assistance." Our sources say the treatment is for substance abuse.
Demi's rep tells TMZ, "Because of the stresses in her life right now, Demi has chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health. She looks forward to getting well and is grateful for the support of her family and friends."
NO ONE mocks the Sikh religion and gets away with it ... not even Jay Leno -- at least that's the sentiment behind a new lawsuit, filed by one angry Sikh follower ... in Bakersfield, CA.
It's all over a recent segment on "The Tonight Show" (above) -- in which Jay pokes fun at the homes of several GOP candidates. We'll spare you, but the punchline is that Mitt Romney -- a famously wealthy businessman -- spends his summers in a solid gold palace.
As an illustration, Jay pulled up a photo of India's Harmandir Sahib -- aka the Golden Temple of Amritsar -- one of the most sacred buildings in the world to the Sikh people.
There's been a lot of outrage among Sikhs over the clip -- but one man in California named Dr. Randeep Dhillon took his religious fervor one step further ... filing a libel lawsuit against the late night host, claiming Leno is responsible for encouraging hatred and ridicule of his religion.
According to Randeep, the Romney joke "falsely portrays the holiest place in the Sikh religion as a vacation resort owned by a non-Sikh" ... THE HORROR.
Randeep is suing for general and punitive damages. Calls to NBC were not returned.
Bear Grylls' night in Hollywood instantly reminded us of his most awesome/disgusting survival maneuver! And, uh ... Bear, we've got a great tip to avoid future self-induced emergency enemas in the wild.
Seal may or may not have a message for Heidi Klum -- singing Al Green's "Let's Stay Together" on today's episode of "Ellen."
Barack Obama performed his own rendition of the famous break-up song just days ago -- but given the timing of Seal's split from Heidi ... we doubt his performance was an homage to POTUS.
Among the lyrics -- "Baby, let's, let's stay together / Loving you whether, whether times are good or bad, happy or sad."
The song appears on Seal's new album -- but there are plenty of other songs he could have chosen to perform.
Pam Anderson has called a truce in her war with a Las Vegas real estate mogul -- who sued the actress for $22.5 million last year, claiming she screwed him out of several massive condo sales.
TMZ broke the story ... Laurence Hallierfiled the lawsuit against Anderson last June, claiming she agreed to promote the sale of several condominiums in the new Panorama Towers -- by making various personal appearances -- but failed to uphold her end of the bargain.
According to Hallier, Anderson flaked on appearance after appearance -- costing him millions in lost condo sales.
Hallier had promised to give Pam a free condo in exchange for her services, but ultimately refused as a result of Pam's alleged breach of agreement. In response, Pam sued him for $1 million.
Now, the two parties have finally let bygones be bygones, striking a settlement out of court. The terms of the settlement are confidential.
Jeremy London has formally been charged with domestic battery for allegedly beating up his baby mamain Palm Springs last month -- but the crazy part ... legal docs filed in the case describe the actor as homeless.
Jeremy still hasn't been arrested for the incident -- so in addition to charging documents, authorities filed a request for an arrest warrant, describing Jeremy's alleged attack on his estranged wife Melissa Cunningham.
According to the docs, the fight started when London put the couple's son in his car to go to breakfast, but Melissa objected ... insisting the boy did not want to go.
According to the papers, an argument erupted, culminating with London pulling Melissa's hair and hitting her on the side of the head.
At the end of the documents, Jeremy is described as having no address ... simply "transient."
A rep for Jeremy tells us, "The allegation for which this charge against Jeremy London is being filed is false and no such abuse occurred."
It's Harvey's favorite question ever (this week) -- would you rather win an Oscar or a Super Bowl? We've got NY Giants co-owner/Oscar winner Steve Tisch ... the only man who's won both. You gotta see which one he treasures more.
Plus, Seal refuses to take off his wedding ring despite his split from Heidi Klum -- sounds sweet on the surface ... but most people think he's just delusional.
Also, Halle Berry's legal war with Gabriel Aubry rages on -- and our attorney, Elisabeth, has a very "heavy" opinion.
Jennifer Aniston is about to become the proud owner of an estate you will never be able to afford ... TMZ has learned.
Sources tells us ... Jennifer has purchased an 8,500 square foot mansion in Bel Air. The asking price was $24 million, but we're told Jennifer got it for a bargain -- only $21 mil.
The Mid Century house has 4 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms and unobstructed city and ocean views. The estate is just shy of 2 acres ... and in Bel Air, that's HUGE. And get this ... it even has a vineyard!
Jennifer's realtor is Jade Mills from Coldwell Banker in Bev Hills. Mills is having a good month. She repped Avril Lavigne, who sold her $8.5 million mansion to L.A. Clippers star Chris Paul last week.
We're told Jennifer will officially get the title to her new pad tomorrow.
Halle Berry will have to wait until Monday to get a decision from a judge ... on whether her baby daddy, Gabriel Aubry, should be prohibited from having any contact with Nahla until the child endangerment investigation runs its course.
Sources tell TMZ ... Judge Scott Gordon heard the matter this AM because the judge who was handling the case is on vacation. After hearing the lawyers arguments, Judge Gordon decided he would not decide, but rather put the matter off until next Monday, when Judge Mark Juhas returns from vacation.
Judge Gordon did not grant an immediate emergency order for either side because he believed there are enough protections in place to keep Nahla safe until Monday's hearing.
We're told Halle and Gabriel did not address the judge.
Don't count on buying a ticket to Joe Paterno's funeral on eBay -- because the auction site just pulled ALL Paterno funeral ticket listings, claiming the tickets violate one of the website's policies.
A rep for eBay tells TMZ they don't "allow the sale of tickets to events in which all tickets are free to the public."
The rep adds, "In accordance with the policy, eBay will not allow the sale of tickets to Joe Paterno's memorial service."
Multiple tickets flooded the auction site this morning after they were made available -- for free -- to the Penn State community.
The bids for the tickets POURED IN. One auction for a pair of passes even reached $99,509 before eBay pulled it.
Paterno's memorial service is scheduled for this Thursday at Penn State's 16,000-seat basketball arena.
Halle Berry's nanny -- who Gabriel Aubry allegedly pushed into a door while she was holding his daughter Nahla -- just got shut down in court -- the judge rejected her request for a restraining order.
Alliance Kamdem claimed she feared retaliation by Aubry, but the judge called her petition "insufficient and speculative."
In her declaration, Kamdem raised more issues than the alleged incident last week, in which she claimed Aubry pushed her out the door while she was holding Nahla. Kamdem cites another alleged incident in June in which she claims Gabriel violently pushed her out a door.
Kamdem claims during a recent trip to Spain where Halle was shooting a movie, Gabriel "would walk over and violently grab/take Nahla away from me."
She also said Gabriel didn't like her from the moment she began her duties as a nanny last June. She claims Gabriel said, "You are a spy," and "Nahla doesn't like you, she doesn't want you here."
The judge said Kamdem's issues should be resolved in family court.
TMZ broke the story ... Gabriel is currently beinginvestigated for child endangermentand battery -- after allegedly pushing Kamdem into a door while she held Nahla in her arms.
Kamdem filed a police report after the incident, claiming Gabriel had injured her. She has since quit the nanny position.
Halle Berry has just arrived at court, where she'll ask a judge for an order prohibiting her baby daddy, Gabriel Aubry, from having ANY contact with 3-year-old Nahla until the child endangerment investigation against him is resolved.
As TMZ first reported, the LAPD is conducting a criminal battery and child endangerment investigation after Gabriel allegedly pushed the nanny with Nahla in her arms. And before the alleged pushing, the nanny says Gabriel screamed at her and hurled a racial epithet. In addition, we've learned the L.A. County Dept. of Children and Family Services is also conducting a child endangerment investigation.
TMZ has learned more about what nanny Alliance Kamdem has told the cops. Law enforcement sources tell us ... Kamdem claims Gabriel repeatedly yelled and cursed at her, often while Nahla was present. Kamdem also says it got so bad ... Gabriel would make her sit in a corner in his condo until he called for her.
Kamdem also claims Gabriel often yelled at Nahla, causing the child to cower and cry. And she told police ... when Nahla had a rash he refused to treat it.
Kamdem quit last week after Gabriel allegedly shoved her.
Gabriel's rep tells TMZ, "Anyone can file a police report at any time, regardless of it being accurate."
As for Halle's court appearance later this AM ... we'll be there.
