Halo 2 Levels 1-4 Transcript Up
The first step in what proves to be a long and arduous cataloguing (since Halo 2 has so much scripted dialogue, and much of the in-game scripted dialogue require a specific trigger), the
Halo Story Page has posted transcripts of the first four levels of Halo 2. Bow to Apeman and mnemesis. And if you're competent with the English language (and check a few times before making a decision; past experience would tell me that the vast majority are, in fact,
not) contact the story crew to talk about throwing your hat into the ring, as it were. I certainly would make time to help except, oops, I forgot, I'm failing all my classes. But seriously, guys, I salute you on your noble quest.

"You're cute when I'm drunk." A funny piece from
w00tness. A correlation to today's world would be, "Wait, I can drive a crappy van in real life, but I'm doing it in Gran Turismo? Around a
racetrack?" Hilarity! Etcetera!

Wow... So any of you want to be a Halo 2 missionary? In their defense, there's a good number of people on Xbox Live who need exorcisms.

Halo Babies has posted the third, and last, in their series of Bungie Fundamentals. You can find it
here. They're forgetting the Prophet of Regret was a boss, too... Thanks mrsmiley.
Sore Are The Best Kind of Losers
You've heard Bungie's take on their recent pwning of Penny Arcade, and now Gabe and Tycho offer a
retort. When in doubt, blame crepes. Their
news post is also enlightening. Tycho blames the sinister, metaphysical machinations of the universe for their loss. Gabe explains that today's comic was direct retaliation for Bungie's gif of the Fruit F***er being humped. You can utterly decimate them in mind, body, and soul, but mess with the Fruit F***er, and it is so
on. And why am I still level 10 in Halo 2 online, you ask?
Crepes, damn it.
Tru7h and Rationalization
I got an email today from Prometheus. He's started the webs first strictly Halo/Bungie Blog on the internet,
Tru7h and Rationalization. If Prometheus lives up ot his word this blog will feature rants, articles, laments and interviews of prominent Halo
community members on a weekly basis. His blog has only been up for a short while and his first article is about the matchmaking system and why it should be remade. I do have a feeling that Rufio from our forums will take some credit for the owning mentioned in the article. :P
Violence in video-games: Continued
We've previously mentions CBSnews.com's series on violence in video-games on a couple of occasions. Previously they've talked to familiar faces such as Claude Errera a.k.a. Louis Wu from Halo.Bungie.Org and Jeff McAllister of our very own PlanetDoom. Yesterday they put up the
interview with Hal Halpin, president of the Interactive Entertainment Merchants Association. Not surprisingly Hal Halpin doesn't see a direct connection between violence and video-games.
Thanks to Louis Wu from HBO for pointing this one out.
The assumptions of yesterday were correct. Bungie did indeed play Penny Arcade in this weeks Humpday Challenge.
For once, they did not lose.
Sep7imus in the Spotlight
Mhaddy from
The Junkyard points out that he's put up a
a spotlight on Sep7imus from Subnova and who also is a regular on the HBO forums.
Penny Arcade about to get humped?
Is
this a hint towards who tonights opponent in the Weekly Humpday Challenge is? I'd eat the blue pill.

I had almost forgot how time-consuming school can be. Since it's soon time to apply for the education I want to attend at the University next autumn I'm improving some old grades that I didn't do too well in. I've finally finished an essay in English and now it's time to move on to a research about marriage in the eastern parts of our beloved planet, India to be more precise. But between the two I bring you some Halo-news.
HowStuffWorks.com has put up a Halo 3 Wishlist with things they would like to see if Halo 3 ever make it into production. Some ideas are things that never made it into Halo 2 and others are things we find in other shooters but things we have yet to see in Halo or it's sequel.

More glitches and tricks than one guy can ever need
Ducain from HIH (
High Impact Halo) points out that the
trick-list in their forums have gotten an update. This thread is the biggest source I've seen when it comes to glitches and tricks. In many cases you also have the option to download a tutorial that helps you getting the trick/glitch right. So if you have yet to nail that trick you've been trying to do for the last two weeks then this may just be the list to take a look at.
Tank is usually the one to post this but since I'm eager to steal some of his glory for now. During the weekends it's been pretty slow on the comic-side but Blackstar put up yet another
Calvin & Halo yesterday.

Red vs. Blue - Episode 51 - 50 part. 2
Red vs. Blue resolved the problems they had with their website a couple of days ago that some of you may have experienced when trying to access their site. Now it's back up and to celebrate this they released the next installment in their series. If you are a sponsor you are now able to get your hands on episode 51 called 50 part 2.
Source: HBO for the release of episode 51 and a number of people via email about the RvB-site being down.
Why Frankie is such a loser and the Maji skull
Last Friday it was time for yet another "Weekly What's Update". Not really that much information was given except that the release of the next update to Halo 2 is drawing closer and we should be having a set date soon. Interested in the full story?
Have a read.
Bungie.net took the time to
interview the founding father of
Halo.Bungie.Org, Claude Errera a.k.a. Louis Wu. It's quite an interesting read, especially for those of you who haven't been around the Halo community since the beginning.
Today at 10.00 AM Pacific Time Bungie.net will be offline due to database maintenance. There is no changes being made according Achronos so don't get too excited with speculations that this should have anything to do with an update to Halo 2.
Critter783 from our forums told me a couple of days ago about
a tournament that he is helping setting up in the Cincinatti, OH area. The event will take place on the 9th of April at Jillian's in Covington, KY. If you are interested in playing Halo 2 together with people in real life instead of over Xbox LIVE for a change then head over to this tournaments
website.
(Note: Most of these news should have been up for a day or two but due to problems with the news-server they've been delayed.)
