In 1995, Bill Watterson gave up drawing that wonderful pair of goofballs, Calvin and Hobbes, a 6-year-old boy and his stuffed tiger. In 2003, Warbow resurrected the pair. On January 11, 2004, Blackstar joined the team.  Calvin and Hobbes is completely and utterly the property of Bill Watterson and Universal Press Syndicate. Warbow and Blackstar acknowledge that their contributions add a Halo spin to the original comic, but that the vast majority of the artwork (as well as the inspiration) derives from Watterson's original work. These strips are an homage to Watterson's creative genius. |
