Well at least it didn't make you murder someone this time!
Five middle-school boys in Greensburg have been arrested, charged in a graffiti blitz they blame on a video game.
The boys range in age from 12 to 14 and are charged with institutional vandalism, criminal conspiracy, criminal mischief and desecration of venerated objects.
Police in the western Pennsylvania town said the youngsters have admitted spray-painting the initials "GKU" on more than a dozen buildings, including a synagogue, an art museum and a Christian thrift store. The initials supposedly stand for "gang kids united."
Police said the boys claim they were inspired by the video game "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas."
Next week: "San Andreas made me have relations with the neighbour's dog."

Wired has provided its picks for most underplayed games of 2004. Here's a sample:
10. Astro Boy: Omega Factor (Sega, Game Boy Advance)
The PlayStation 2 game starring the quintessential anime hero got more hype, but Astro Boy's appearance on the Game Boy Advance is far and away the better game.
Everyone's favorite boy android blasts around the GBA screen, filling it with rounds of bullets and taking out enemy robots a few at a time. Astro Boy: Omega Factor is filled with epic battles against tough boss monsters. Rescuing Astro Boy's friends lets the little rocket-fueled guy beef up his stamina and power.

Uggh, that Andy guy is back. Folks came over from England for a week long visit. Was nice to see them, bit stressful at times, but cool. Doesn't seem like I missed much anyway...
Reminder: There's still a few days left to vote in our reader's choice console awards if you haven't done so already.
Looks like we're gonna get some cool firework shows on NYE/NY here in Germany, so combined with booze it should be good fun. Obligatory question: Watcha up to NYE/NY?
