    WordPress Origin Story

    I started blogging with WordPress in 2004, as a way of sharing my thoughts with friends and family. Since I was also a web developer “hacking” a theme to do my bidding, which was easy to do with WordPress. After a few years I began building integrations with WordPress, which started me on the path of becoming a WordPress developer. I’ve been a contributor to many plugins, and even became a co-maintainer for a WooCommerce plugin. I’ve helped organize, volunteered at, and spoken at a few WordCamps. I’m now a full time WordPress developer with a marketing agency that focuses on clients with a mission to impact our world.
