    Hi, I’m Horst Kandutsch from Carinthia, Austria – developer, software auditor, and passionate problem solver.
    With AHK Softwaregutachten.at e.U., I support small and medium-sized businesses by building lean, practical software tools and offering expert IT evaluations.
    I love creating simple solutions that save time, bring structure, and make everyday work easier – without the fluff.

    WordPress Origin Story

    I started out building websites the old-school way – hand-coded in HTML. It was fun, but as client needs grew, it just wasn’t scalable anymore. Around 2010, I evaluated different CMS options and quickly realized: WordPress was the perfect fit for my clients – flexible, future-proof, and easy to maintain.
    Since then, I’ve been working with WordPress – and loving it more each year.
    Today, almost all of our ~400 websites run on WordPress – only two are still pure HTML. The rest have long made the switch.
