    Developer turned product manager. A couple of years ago, I started focusing on the hosting industry and rand products at different companies in more than 15 international markets.

    While not at work, I help run the German WordPress community, write a weekly newsletter (in German), and tend to my three WordPress-related podcasts.

    WordPress Origin Story

    I started using WordPress in early 2008 after my new Joomla got hacked (not Joomla’s fault). I stuck around, broke my website in every way possible, and started building websites for clients.

    After some years, I discovered that other people used WordPress as well. Ever since I’ve been organizing meetups and WordCamps all over Germany.
