    Web and app developer livind in Ecuador. I’ve been using and developing WordPress sites since 2007.
    Nowadays, I mostly do html, css, and javascript stuff, but I’m still very much in love with php development.

    WordPress Origin Story

    I used to make dynamic flash powered by a php cms I created from scratch. Flash started going downhill when SEO started becoming important to our clients, back in 2007. I was still using my custom made CMS, which the people I worked with thought was awesome (nowadays, I’d say it was very lame). I then discovered wordpress, probably around version 2.3. I fell in loved with it, but it took me a lot of effort to convince the bosses to switch to that platform, as back then it was still considered mostly a CMS for blogs. Lucky me, I did convince them to use it, and we’ve been using it for most of our projects since 2007.
