Back in 2023, I was helping shape the voice and design of WordCamp Europe in Athens. It wasn’t just about organizing—it was about creating clarity and connection for thousands of people. The year before, I volunteered in Porto, learning how global communities thrive when communication feels simple and human.
But my journey started much earlier. In 2021, when COVID disrupted everything, I became a speaker at WordCamp Greece Online. Our goal was clear: keep people connected. Before that, in 2019, life threw me a curveball—a broken leg. What seemed like a setback became an opportunity. With time on my hands, I started translating WordPress plugins and themes into Greek. That experience taught me the power of accessibility and localization.
By then, I was already organizing meetups in Thessaloniki, a role I embraced since 2018 after attending countless events and meeting inspiring people. Along the way, I contributed code to WordPress core and deepened my knowledge of themes and plugins. Each step gave me a broader view—not just of WordPress, but of how technology, design, and people intersect.
Today, that journey shapes who I am: a 360° market-view professional who understands ecosystems, user needs, and the importance of clear communication. Before AI tools, it was all about human connection—and that’s still at the heart of everything I do.
