And also have an M26 Pershing tank parked on the deck. Since that tank not only survived the nuclear tests but was also still on her deck when Nevada was used for a gunnery target and even still sitting there on May 11, 2020 when she was found on the ocean floor.

Or '41 should've been Colorado, and Maryland should be the tech tree ship. (Despite Colorado being the official lead ship, Maryland was the first to be laid down, launched and completed. A full 2 years ahead of Colorado.)

That appears to be the case for a lot of countries.

It's a nut pommel, so removing the blade and replacing it shouldn't be hard.

Is it possible your grandfather made those himself?

A reload nerf would be very fair. Reload is something that can be tweaked for balance, and the projected reload for Soyuz' 406mm guns seems extremely optimistic.

IIRC that was mostly due to poor ammo consistency. Similar to what was IRL the main cause of inaccuracy for the Italian 380mm guns, but more extreme (since at least some of the Italian shells were actually to spec).

So is that style of pommel pretty universal for Takoba, with the difference just being what materials are used?

Last? So you're not going to do custom swords anymore?

Boy, 15.5 looks like something of a dud by LastTraintoSector6 in WorldOfWarships

It's a shame. With this being America's 250th, I thought we might see them do something really whacky... like maybe a one-time USS Constitution 1797 tier one or something. But... nope. Just... skins.

Or USS Constitution skins for the existing ships. You know, make them look like they're wood and put sails on the masts.

I present the worst 'sword' in media as voted by r/swords by TheatreBar in SWORDS

[–]Dark_Magus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Exactly. For the keyblade to be a decent axe, you'd need to either remove the back end of the "guard", or have it angled to be off-center from the grip. In its in-game configuration, trying to maintain edge alignment would be a nightmare.

Yeah Opera is NOT a Tet (rank 9) by Extension-Bad-4184 in DemonSchoolIrumakun

[–]Dark_Magus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The higher your rank, the harder it is to get to the next one. And since rank 10 is by far the hardest rank to achieve, it stands to reason that there could be substantial power gaps within rank 9.

IIRC Italy modified some of their Priests with a longer barrel. Hopefully Gaijin gives that version instead of pure copy-slop.

The caption specifically says it's not a sword. It's a large hunk of iron.

Super strength doesn't mean super mass. You'd need more than just super strength, you'd also need a power to keep your body from being shifted by the giant sword's momentum.

For example, the X-Men villain Blob could wield any size sword he's strong enough to swing, because his powers are to manipulate gravity to firmly plant his feet on the ground whenever he chooses. Also, any "flying brick" Superman type character should be able to repurpose their flight power to counteract any shift in momentum from swinging a giant weapon.

Getty Images going out of business would be wonderful, because it's a truly cancerous business. They charge extortionate fees for free images that they don't actually own.

That's exactly the problem. Lens is a different tool that replaced Google Image Search. For it to not be able to do what Image Search did is a huge problem.
