Brief Introduction #
Learning something new can be hard or easy, depending on the right instructions. Just like you need our documentation to understand your marketplace, store owners who are new to your site would require instructions to navigate their marketplace store. Here is how you can send tutorials to store owners new to your marketplace.
Required module and setup #
To use the Knowledgebase feature, the admin first needs to enable the Knowledgebase module.
Follow these steps to activate it:
- Go to MultiVendorX → Modules
- Open the Notification tab
- Locate the Knowledgebase module
- Enable the module
Once enabled, a dedicated Knowledgebase section becomes available inside the MultiVendorX admin panel, allowing the admin to create and manage documentation for store owners.

How admin can create knowladgebase for vendors #
After enabling the module, the admin can start publishing helpful resources for store owners.
- Navigate to MultiVendorX → Knowledgebase
- Click Add New
- Enter the document title
- Add the required content or instructions
- Click Publish
Once published, the document becomes visible to vendors inside their dashboard.

Document visibility options #
Before publishing, the admin can also manage the document status based on workflow requirements.
- Pending – Selecting Pending keeps the document awaiting review before publication.
- Draft – Selecting Draft and clicking Save stores the document privately until it is ready to be published.
How the store owners can access #
Accessing knowledgebase is easy. All they have to do is –
- Log in to your Store Dashboard
- Go to Resources → Documentation
- Browse the list of available documents
- On top you can find the latest announcement made by the Admin
