The Lost Girls of Highgate Cemetery

£16Book now

Wed 1 July to Sat 4 July

Back by Popular Demand for a Summer Season - performed in the Courtyard!
Ten “fallen women”, the youngest only fourteen years old, lay nameless and forgotten in an unmarked grave in Highgate Cemetery’s West side for over a century until recently.
This play reveals compelling lives, tragically cut short by poverty and illness. The girls may be lost to time, but they will now be honoured and not forgotten.

Wednesday 1 to Saturday 4 July - see ticket listing for show times

The Friday performance will include a Q&A

Visit the grave before the performance - arrive promptly when the doors open.

Theatre in the Square will perform in all weather conditions and rarely cancels performances before they start, even if it rains.
The courtyard is uncovered, so shows may be paused and restarted. Tickets are non-refundable for weather-related cancellations but an exchange may be offered for any upcoming show. Umbrellas are not permitted during the performance.
Bring raincoats, hats, and warm layers, as evenings can be cool.

Lizzie Siddal - Beyond The Muse

£18Book now

Tuesday 22 and Wednesday 23 September

This contemporary, poetic solo performance restores the voice of Elizabeth Siddal, a key figure of the Pre-Raphaelite circle, long overlooked in art history...
Conceived as an act of rehabilitation, the play repositions her at its centre - not as a muse - but as an artist in her own right: a gifted painter who struggled to assert herself in a world that celebrated her beauty while resisting her talent.

Written and performed by Celine Devalan
Directed by Caroline Darnay
Running time 75 minutes

7.30pm in the chapel

Ticket £18 includes a glass of wine.
