Jeff Gordon is an American professional stock car racing driver, and racing executive. He drove the No. 24 Chevrolet for Hendrick Motorsports, racing full-time from 1993 to 2015. He is a four-time NASCAR Cup Series champion. He is now the vice chairman of Hendrick.

Jeff is the son of Carol and William Gordon. His cousin is stock car racing driver James Bickford. He is married to Belgian model and actress Ingrid Vandebosch, with whom he has two children.

Jeff’s paternal grandfather was William Grinnell Gordon (the son of Percy Vanderlyn Gordon and Havilah/Havalah Williams). William was born in Vallejo, Solano, California. Percy was born in Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne, Pennsylvania, the son of Zelotes Grinnell Gordon, whose paternal grandfather was from Londonderry, Ireland; and of Sarah Eliza Rice. Jeff’s paternal grandmother was Doris May Lewis (the daughter of Howard Johnson Lewis and Ethel Mae Fultz). Doris was born in Tulare, California. Howard was born in Fayetteville, Lincoln, Tennessee, the son of Talbot Johnson Lewis and Mary Jane DeBose. Jeff’s great-trandmother Ethel was born in California, the daughter of William Amos Fultz and Eva Elizabeth Price.

Jeff’s maternal grandfather was Patrick Arthur Houston (the son of Adelbert Avery Houston and Anna Margaret Hickey). Patrick was born in White Pine, Nevada.
