N.A. Indirect Procurement Manager – Overheads
Work Locations:
7601 Greenbriar Parkway Orlando, FL or Promenade Central, 1200 Peachtree St. NE Atlanta, GA
Level: Manager (First‑Line Leader)
About the Role
We’re looking for a hands‑on Indirect Procurement Manager to lead North America overhead spend within a broader Source‑to‑Pay (S2P) organization. This role owns end‑to‑end strategic sourcing execution, supplier relationships, and stakeholder partnership across indirect categories that support the business—but are not tied to direct manufacturing.
You’ll manage one direct report (based in Orlando) while personally leading sourcing initiatives across North America. This role requires strong execution, disciplined sourcing practices, and the ability to balance value, service, and governance.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Own North America indirect overhead sourcing (approximately $40M+ spend)
- Lead and coach through a structured 7‑step strategic sourcing process
- Run RFPs/RFXs independently and ensure fairness, governance, and ESG alignment
- Partner closely with business stakeholders to define requirements and deliver outcomes
- Manage supplier relationships, including QBRs, performance improvement, and contract management
- Drive optimized value (service, quality, risk, and cost—not price alone)
- Coach and develop one direct report while remaining hands‑on in execution
- Operate effectively within a regionalized, decentralized procurement model
Categories You’ll Support
Any spend not directly related to building pallets or containers, including:
- Marketing and professional services
- Consulting and contingent labor
- Regional T&E
- Regional IT platforms and technology services
- Office supplies
- Facilities, janitorial, décor, and building services
- Transportation support (truck leasing: box trucks, flatbeds, CDL trailers)
- Regional supplier partnerships
What Success Looks Like
In the first 90 days, you will:
- Independently lead sourcing events using the established sourcing methodology
- Be viewed as a trusted procurement partner by NA stakeholders
- Actively manage supplier performance and contracts
- Coach your direct report through complex sourcing activities
Over time, you will:
- Consistently deliver value across NA overhead spend
- Build strong supplier partnerships with clear governance
- Be recognized as a reliable, execution‑focused people leader
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of strategic sourcing experience (industry agnostic)
- Proven experience managing $XXM+ indirect spend
- Strong working knowledge of formal strategic sourcing processes
- Experience with CLM / P2P systems (Coupa, SAP, Ariba, MRP, or similar)
- Ability to lead sourcing events end‑to‑end and partner with cross‑functional stakeholders
- Comfortable operating without signatory authority
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior people leadership experience or leading complex cross‑functional initiatives
- Category exposure to IT, Marketing, Professional Services, Facilities, or Transportation
- Experience managing regional suppliers
- Strong supplier relationship management background
Who Thrives in This Role
- Leaders who enjoy ownership and accountability
- Procurement professionals who like solving problems and driving outcomes
- People who value service and partnership, not just cost reduction
- Those comfortable being both a coach and a doer
Why Join
- High visibility and impact across North America
- Broad exposure to diverse indirect categories
- Opportunity to shape how procurement partners with the business
- A role with real ownership, not just advisory influence
Base pay range is $102,000- $140,000 annually
