Business Insider publishes absolute trash. On the few occasions that they have covered topics that I... am sufficiently familiar with to engage in an informed conversation, I have found them to be wildly inaccurate and irrelevant. An example of this can be found in a recent article about US troops being sent to the US/Mexico border. The article painted orders senior military officers were likely to give in a way that sounded like the only thing the author knows about the military was learned in the movie “Patton.” It was a wildly inaccurate and ridiculous portrayal. BI articles inspire uninformed readers to skim the material then proceed to argue with each other in the comments. Sensibility (while rare) is usually crucified by more extreme and less informed commenters. If you seek truth and value unbiased, accurate reporting, stay clear of BI. See More
