Somalia: Troops Out in Two Weeks - Ethiopian PM

As tensions escalate in Somalia, Ethiopian Prime Minister Meles Zenawi has promised to withdraw troops from the region within two weeks. However, the BBC reports Somalia's interim PM has claimed Ethiopian soldiers could be needed for months.

Rwanda Will Not Use DDT to Control Malaria

The controversial Dichloro Diphenyl Trichloroethane (DDT) will not be used to control malaria in Rwanda. The chemical was recommended last year by the World Health Organisation, as a tool to control the disease in the developing countries.
