What should I expect in my first session?

In your first session, the focus will be on building a safe and supportive space for you to share your concerns. Your therapist will: - Spend time understanding what brought you to therapy. - Ask about your personal history and current challenges. - Explore what you hope to achieve from therapy. This session is about getting to know you and your unique experiences. We recommend a 75-minute session for your first appointment to ensure we have ample time to get started.

How long are your therapy sessions?

We offer individual and couple therapy sessions that are 50 minutes or 75 minutes long. For your first session, we highly recommend a 75-minute session to allow enough time to thoroughly discuss your needs and goals.

How many sessions will I need?

The number of sessions depends on your goals and the challenges you're facing. Some clients find resolution in a few sessions, while others benefit from ongoing support over a longer period. It’s important to note that meaningful results in psychotherapy often take time, as the process involves exploring patterns, gaining insights, and fostering lasting change. We’ll discuss your needs and expectations during your initial consultation and work together to determine the best approach for you.

How much do sessions cost?

Can I change therapists if I feel it’s not the right fit?

Can I contact you between sessions?

While we can’t provide therapy between sessions, you can contact us for scheduling or urgent concerns. For emergencies, please contact crisis services or seek immediate medical help.

Do you offer online sessions?

Yes, we offer both online and in-person sessions to accommodate your preferences and schedule. Online sessions are conducted via a secure, confidential link.

What languages do you speak?

We offer therapy in Cantonese, English and Mandarin.
