r/casio Rules

Rule 1. "Posts must include a Casio item (see exception)..."

If your post doesn't feature a Casio related item, we may remove it. This rule applies to Casio posts featuring both watches or other items (example: calculators, clocks, keyboards, cameras, cassette players, stereos, etc.). Posts may be removed at moderator discretion if found to be incomplete or found to violate the general ethos of this subreddit. We're here to see and share casio content so please help us keep content on topic by attempting to include a photo or video in your posts.

Rule 2. "Don't be a jerk."

Users are expected to remain polite/civil while interacting with their fellow redditors. Being rude or unkind may result in your content being removed.

Rule 3. "No AI Posts, period."

We don't want 'em, don't need 'em. Your content should be original and not contain any AI or bot generated content. AI generated images related to modding can be submitted to r/CasioMODS

Rule 4. "No politics..."

This includes a "current events" and political figures prohibition whenever applicable. If your submission is found to otherwise seed politically charged discussion (example: war, govt policy, geopolitical events, etc.)... it may also be removed for the purposes of keeping discussion on-topic. We're here to discuss our love for Casio products. There are multiple other appropriate subreddits for politically natured discussion.

"Rule 5. Keep it PG-13. No mature content..."

This includes a prohibition on linking or referring to adult content creators.

Rule 6. "No bots, scams, trolling, spamming content, low effort posts, karma farming..."

Spamming content, posting scams, submitting reposts, trolling, and/or karma farming, may result in your content being removed. Please keep discussion original and on-topic. Memes are allowed unless found to be unnecessarily excessive and/or in violation of another stated rule.

Rule 7. "No transacting..."

Exception: if you've made a casio post over at r/watchexchange, you may link to that post. We'd just ask that you comply with their subreddit's rules prior to crossposting here.

Rule 8. "No photos while driving [see exceptions..."

Exceptions: unless it's obvious OP is parked/stopped, on a closed course, or the passenger in a vehicle.

Rule 9. "No Real/Fake/Defective/Quality Control checks. Please submit those over at r/CasioQC..."

Please ensure you provide all necessary background on the watch to include its make, model, source, box, manuals, etc.

Rule 10. "try to include a model # when submitting photos and/or questions (suggested/not required)"

When posting/commenting, please attempt to include a model number for the Casio item related to your submission. By doing so, you're helping your fellow redditors help you. While this isn't a required rule at this time, including a model # is still STRONGLY encouraged by the r/casio Mod team.
