Is there a global development plan for the distribution? Are there any plans? The shell is very cool, but it's a pity that there are so few developers and it has been abandoned.
Hi, my first post here. I am attempting to try Ubuntu unity as I am getting more and more fed up with Gnome. Downloaded ubuntu unity 26.04 onto Ventoy SD card and booted. It appears to boot ok but then pops up a login prompt with a Dropdown field with only 'Others' in it and a user name and password field. I thought that the user name should be ubuntu with no password, but it says that is invalid. I have tried numerous names such as unity ubuntu-unity, but no success. Can anyone tell me how to login please?
