    Bio

    Hi ! My name is Dareth, I like to describe myself as a brand strategist and digital maker. I have been designing brands, graphics and websites since 2001 and using WordPress since 2012.

    Sustainability is a driving force in my daily work since few years. I do believe in enhancing brands, products and services through thoughtful strategies and concerted actions. My approaches favor quality, following OPQUAST standards, and aim for performance while remaining attentive to the imperatives of environmental impact (WSG/RGSEN) and accessibility (WCAG/RGAA).

    WordPress Origin Story

    I started web development in 2001, exploring various tools until 2010, coding and saling my own CMS between 2004 and 2010 . Around 2010, I tentatively experimented with WordPress, SPIP, Joomla, Drupal, but it wasn’t until 2012, working on a travel agency blog, that I have fully embraced WordPress. Later projects have paved the way to my expertise in WordPress.

    Over a decade later, my work still primarily revolves around WordPress. Though, from my first projects to my current workflow, the transformation is like comparing a handyman to NASA (at my level). Since 2018, I’ve been using Bedrock for all my WordPress projects, which includes working with Composer, NPM/Bun, and improving my stack with implementing Tailwind CSS in Gutenberg and Site Editor (FSE). I now use a personalized WP optimized for security, web performance, eco-design and accessibility.

    Since 2022, I’m trying to give back to community as much as possible.
