crypts created with easy crypt can be used on any other operating system supporting truecrypt, and vice-versa.

Forget this. Just install the executable Truecrypt download from truecrypt.org and use it.

Doesn't seem to work. I wanted to make a simple task of opening a TrueCrypt partition and couldn't find a way of doing it...
