Dea*th toll update | 24 members of National Army factions kil*led or detained in attack by Manbij Military Council
Aleppo province: The number of casualties of factions of the Turkish-backed National Army during one operation has risen to 24 people killed, injured or imprisoned, in Manbij countryside at the frontlines between Manbij Military Council and factions of “Euphrates Shield” in Aleppo countryside.
SOHR activists have documented the death of eight members of the National Army and the imprisonment of three injured others due to the explosion of two vehicles of the factions by members of Manbij Military Council on the frontlines in Al-Boghaz Village western of Manbij in eastern Aleppo countryside, in an attempt by the factions to sneak into military checkpoints of the regime forces and checkpoints of Manbij Military Council, where the operation ended by the withdrawal of the factions to areas of “Euphrates Shield” after they suffered 13 injuries and the injured members were taken to Al-Bab Hospital to receive proper medication.
Earlier today, factions of the Turkish-backed “National Army” carried out an infiltration operation on the frontline of Al-Boghaz village west of Minbij city east of Aleppo, which resulted in the eruption of violent clashes between the factions and the forces of the military council of Minbij, in which heavy weapons were used, where the latter managed to respond the attack after the violent clashes. Forces of the military council of Minbij also targeted two vehicles of the attacking factions, which led to their detonation, amid information about dead and injured people.
In parallel, forces of the military council of Minbij shot down a Turkish kamikaze drone, a short time before, in Arab Hasan village in the countryside of Minbij, east of Aleppo.
