Differentiated connectivity is no longer a concept. It is commercial reality. In 2025, CSPs launched 20+ new offers. That brings the total to around 65 globally. 🌍 Consumers are ready: 40 percent of consumers identify key moments where they would opt for guaranteed network performance. Half are willing to pay for this. This is a shift from Megabits per second to outcomes: 📲 a video call that never fails 🏟️ a stadium experience that just works 🏢 enterprise connectivity with guaranteed performance The foundation is 5G Standalone, enabling slicing and SLAs, and allowing CSPs to operate in a loop: explore, monetize and scale. APIs expose network capabilities to developers and partners, enabling CSPs to explore new use cases, monetize differentiated value, and scale what works, accelerated by aggregators like Aduna Global As AI scales, uplink performance becomes critical. This is another opportunity to create differentiated value and new revenue. The demand is there. The technical foundation is in place. The commercial cases exist. Now it is time to scale. 📈 🎥 Watch the full Beyond the Buzzwords conversation with Cecilia Atterwall and Patrick Johansson: https://lnkd.in/eZPZUFjN #Ericsson #BeyondTheBuzzwords #DifferentiatedConnectivity

6G is the destination, but network evolution is the journey. The path starts with today’s investments in 5G Standalone, 5G advanced, differentiated connectivity, network APIs and exposure, and autonomous networks. These create the foundation for a smooth introduction of 6G. 6G will be about taking connectivity to the next level: moving beyond fast networks, it will be an intelligent fabric that connects people and machines through mobile, cloud, and AI systems. AI/AR smart glasses, autonomous robots, AI assistants and connected cities will rely on constant data streams and predictable performance. 6G is being designed to support these new traffic patterns and service needs. 👉 The journey starts now. 🔗 Learn more here: https://lnkd.in/eTkwpry2 #Ericsson #6G #5G #AI

Korea has a bold vision ⚡️ to lead the world in AI and 6G innovation. Today, that vision took a major step forward. Ericsson has been selected as the sole global technology partner for SK Telecom's Hyper-AI Network Infrastructure Demonstration Project: a game-changing initiative backed by Korea's Ministry of Science and ICT. The Challenge: Today's networks are built for connectivity. Tomorrow's networks need to be intelligent. They need to think, learn, and act in real time. Together, Ericsson and SK Telecom are demonstrating how networks can evolve beyond connectivity into intelligent platforms that actively power Physical AI. We're building infrastructure that doesn't just connect: it thinks, computes, and automates at the edge. This is the foundation for the next generation of AI services that will transform industries. How It Works: ▪️ Ericsson's commercial AI RAN solution transforms networks from reactive to intelligent ▪️ The Ericsson Intelligent Automation Platform (EIAP) and AI-powered rApps enable AI-native network management and automation ▪️ Ericsson's leadership in 5G Advanced and AI-native networks will pave the way for intelligent machines and autonomous industries Takki Yu, VP and Head of Network R&D at SK Telecom, says: “As a key national project supporting Korea’s Hyper-AI Network strategy, SK Telecom is pleased to collaborate with Ericsson as a key technology partner to advance AI-RAN technology through global cooperation. Together, we aim to build a strategic win-win partnership, demonstrate real industrial value, and help strengthen Korea’s AI-RAN technology capabilities and ecosystem for the future.” This project proves that intelligent networks aren't a distant future, they're happening now. And when they do, the possibilities multiply across industries: smarter cities, autonomous systems, real-time AI services that change how businesses operate. Read more: https://lnkd.in/e4AgX6jj

AI is changing what mobile networks need to deliver. As generative AI becomes more multimodal, mobile and agentic, networks must support more than rising traffic volumes. Uplink performance, latency, reliability, jitter, security and mobility will increasingly shape the quality of AI experiences for consumers, enterprises and industries. For CSPs, this creates a clear opportunity. By advancing 5G Standalone, enhanced uplink, differentiated connectivity and network exposure, the network can evolve from best-effort connectivity into a programmable platform for AI innovation and new business models. What if the network could do more than connect the world around us? What if it could also sense it? Ericsson and AT&T recently demonstrated advanced network sensing outside AT&T Stadium, using 5G infrastructure to detect, locate, and track drones in real time. The demonstration offers a glimpse of how capabilities associated with 6G can begin taking shape today. By combining connectivity, sensing and intelligence, mobile networks could provide greater awareness around major venues, critical infrastructure and other complex environments. Watch network sensing in action and see how this collaboration is helping bring the future of networks into focus. #NetworkSensing #5G #6G #ISAC #Ericsson #ATT
